Cancun, Quintana Roo
Thank you @kbivkrochet for this cute, comfy swimsuit. Make sure you check her out she makes custom crochet pieces (swimsuits, jackets, sweaters, pants and more).
Since I am now a college graduate, I decided that I needed a well deserved trip. I called my mom (she is a travel agent) and told her I wanted to plan a trip out of the country.
We planned and we booked with Adventure Travel. On December 14th-19th, a friend and I traveled with Delta Airlines to Cancun, Quintana Roo located in Mexico. We arrived and the weather was about 76 degrees. The weather was in the 70’s and 80’s the whole trip. This may not seem very warm but the week before in North Carolina, on my graduation day, it was snowing.
We stayed at the Grand Oasis Cancun resort and this place was so beautiful. This place included about 15+ restaurants, 10+ bars, shows and nightclubs. This was an all inclusive trip, so most of our time was spent on the resort. We ate all three meals and drinks all throughout the day, which was included. We even went to the night club during our stay and felt like we were in the heart of Cancun partying in the city. There was so much to do and so many young people we got to connect with.
We went on an excursion to Xplor, about an hour away from the resort. There I zip-lined for my very first time, and I recommend it for everyone. This was probably the most scary, crazy, fun experience I have ever had. The tour included a buffet dinner. Then we went off to the ATV’s. We drove through the woods, in some caves, and even over some bridges. To see more from the trip check out my YouTube Vlog. Click to picture below to see my experience in Cancun!
