Foodies Guide – Nashville, TN

I’ve always considered myself a foodie and if you follow me on Instagram you probably know once the weekend hits I’m posting a plate of food. So to finally make it official I decided that sharing my favorite places to eat can be very helpful to someone overwhelmed with all the restaurants in Nashville. I want to get straight to the point so here’s a list of my top favorite restaurants in Nashville 😊

Wild Ginger – Franklin, TN

I absolutely loved this place it is a little far from me so I haven’t been back but this probably one of the best “upper” scale restaurants I’ve had in Nashville. It’s an Asian Fusion restaurant and I would definitely recommend the salmon and sushi if you ever have a chance to go. And if you are up for the occasion you should visit Arrington Vineyards, then Wild Ginger.

Darfons

This is another upscale restaurant that I would definitely recommend. Some of the meals are a little different so if you are picky you may not agree with some of the combinations.

Menu Item: BBQ Salmon

Monells

This is probably my favorite southern cooking restaurant in Nashville. They server breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’ve never had the breakfast but I’ve heard great things about it. You get a lot of food for the price and its all you can eat. Unfortunately because of COVID some locations are closed so be sure to check out the website before you make your way.

Seafood Sensation

If you are looking for that tailgate piece of fish with hot sauce and/or mustard. This is the place I recommend.

Island Vibes

Maybe you haven’t even tried Jamaican food before.. This is the place you need to try it. It isn’t a sit down restaurant but definitely worth the drive.

Menu Item: Small Jerk Chicken with Rice & Beans and Cabbage

Riddim N Spice

Right in the heart of Meharry Medical School, a mix of different carribean foods in one. My favorite is the bowl where I can mix chicken, rice and beans, and any other of my favorites.

The Pharmacy

The best burger places offer good hamburgers, turkey burgers and veggie burgers. I only eat turkey so that’s what I always look for on the menu. Besides Burger Republic, this is the best turkey burger I’ve had in Nashville. Not to mention the bun choices.

Menu Item: “Choose your cure” with sweet potato fries

Brunch (My favorite meal of the day!)

Pancake Pantry

This place is known to have the best pancakes in town and I can agree to that! They have so many options and flavors, so if you have a chance to go I encourage you to get anything but plain pancakes. Since this one of the best breakfast spots in town. I encourage you to either go early or during day as you may find your self standing in a long line.

Sorry I can’t remember which pancakes these are 🙁

Hopsmith Tavern

I don’t know if its the many options of food or the buy one, get one free champagne bottles 😉 If you’re ever in Nashville to start a fun Saturday/ Sunday Hopsmith Tavern is recommended.

Menu Item: Loaded Veggie Omelet

Here is a snippet of my life in Nashville so if you ever have a chance to check out any of these places let me know! Also, you can follow me on Instagram to see more of my foodie journey.
